We will be opening the Church for visitors to see the development since our Wind and Watertight phase 1. You can take a look at all our plans to repurpose this Free Church in to a creative hub for Heritage, Biodiversity, music and crafts. Plus we will have a Heritage display, details of the travelling pulpit, plans for our community App and a pop up art exhibition. We will also be showcasing a young person activity to design a stain glass window project with inspiration from the church

Explore Dulnain Bridge

Guided walk to the top of Laggan Hill with great views over Strathspey to the Cairngorms. It will be a gradual ascent of Laggan Hill by road to the TV transmitter. Descend viewing Bronze Age burial cairns, cup marked stones, a Pictish stone, limestone workings and limekiln. A diverse range of archaeology in the landscape.

Ancient Technology at Kilmartin Museum

John Lord with 50 years’ experience as a flintknapper and awarded the BEM for services to the profession in 2017 will be making a welcome return to Kilmartin museum having demonstrated previously at the Museum many times over the years, and we are so excited that he has returned for the festival. Through demonstrations, John will enthral visitors with the magical transformation of core flint into a flint tool of beauty, it is pure enjoyment to watch!
